  1. Hot Hot Fishing Action!

Nevagivup and Reel Capture have been amongst the hot fishing action over the last week with plenty of Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna and quite a few Blue Marlin around. The weather has changed (for the warmer), the currents have changed direction and the water temp is on the increase. John Tetrin is out fishing on his birthday today and they have already tagged one Blue Marlin and were fighting another one! Happy Birthday John!

Newsletter Spring 2015     During the winter months the weather has been on average windy and rough but we have managed to come in with some nice catches  of Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna and Mahi Mahi. The Black Marlin have stayed for longer than usual this year and we are still encountering some nice Striped Marlin. The Sailfish have also been in numbers as well. There has also been some large Blue Marlin around as well. Captain Charles Wheeler on board Nevagivup ended up with a Grand Slam on one action packed morning with a Striped Marlin, Sailfish and Blue Marlin!     The dates for the Vanuatu Marlin Classic 2016 are from the 27th – 31st of May. Please let us know if you are interested in fishing this great tournament.     Accommodation at Waterfront Quays has been restored and is now available for bookings. Great place to stay as it is in town and close to the boats.     The dates for this years Port Vila Game Fishing Club Anchor Inn Game Fishing Classic is on the 21st and 22nd of November. Drop us an email if you would like to fish this tournament.     We would like to thank everyone that has fished with us over the last couple of months and we look forward seeing you again soon.

Captain Charles Wheeler has been having a blast out on the water this week on board Nevagivup, going 2 Sailfish (double hook up) one day, then the next day 2 Black Marlin (double hook up) and then yesterday raising 3 Blue Marlin (double hook up again), busting one off on 50 pound tackle, jumped one off over 700 pound and then landing one around the 300 pound mark! Congratulations to Lindsay after an hour and 45 minute fight, tail wrapped fish and on 50 pound tackle! Charles is out again today with the 130′s out!  —
