Horizon
Horizon is a very recent game fishing charter boat built in Redcliff, Australia and completed in October 2003. This stylish and spacious Capricorn 42' flybridge cruiser was designed with performance and fishing as the key criteria. Horizon is equipped to cater for both the expert fishermen and the first time angler.
Performance
Her sharp, semi-flying Mustang hull and twin 370 Horsepower Cummins engines ensure a smooth, safe and quick ride to the fishing grounds. Stability and high speed performance give her a perfect seaworthiness combination. Horizon's maximum speed is 33 knots and she cruises at 24 knots. Fitted with the latest radar, fish finder, chart-plotter and radio, locating bait schools and big game fish quickly is easy.
Fishing
As Horizon is equipped with an unbeatable range of game fishing equipment combined with every luxury comfort, you will enjoy a cruising and fishing experience that is second to none.
Horizon carries cutting edge fishing gear including Shimano Tiagra game reels, Ian Miller game rods and the best selection of performance lures available. On her fishing deck you will find rod holders, outriggers, freezer, lure boxes, sink, shower and a 130lb fighting chair to help you fight even the toughest and heaviest monsters of the sea.
The flybridge allows the skipper to be at home in control while up to 7 guests and anglers enjoy the sun, spot the fish (very practical!) and share the outlook from the u-shaped lounge with fridge and stereo for entertainment.
Safety
No expense has been spared and radar and radio ensure your safety at the fishing grounds. Onboard we have a 10 person life raft, life jackets, flares, fire extinguishers and a first aid kit. Horizon exceeds marine requirements and is in full survey Vanuatu wide. Last but not least, our skipper Fabrice has full rescue certification and we have full cover passenger insurance.
Relaxation
After hours of heart-pounding, palm-sweating, adrenaline charged battle with blue water monsters, you can enjoy a beer or soft drink along with a delicious snack or meal in the luxuriously appointed lounge. Horizon has a fully equipped galley and two spacious cabins so you can take a nap or a good nights sleep.
Her spacious interior makes Horizon the ideal pleasure cruise boat for 4 to 7 people. In addition to the 5 beds in the cabins, the lounge sofas convert to create sleeping space for two more people.
Horizon will not carry more than 6 passengers/anglers except on your specific request.
REEL CAPTURE
Reel Capture is a 34ft Kevlacat powered by 2 x 300HP Yanmar diesel shaft drive engines. She is better suited for day charters and her larger cockpit allows for all styles of game fishing. She can also tag along with Horizon to join in on the fun of a live aboard expedition.
She has a Black Marlin Tuna Tower fitted to help the skipper spot fish and a 130 pound Relax game chair is fitted on the fishing deck allowing for a full day of heavy tackle fishing.
Her electronics are the latest Raymarine E120 series fitted with a powerful 1KW sounder.
Reel Capture's top speed of 33 knots and cruising speed of 25 knots ensure that you get to the fishing grounds quickly.
NEVAGIVUP
Nevagivup is a 34ft Blackwatch powered by 2 x 330Hp Cummins diesel shaft drive engines. She specializes in all tackle records and has many to her name. Nevagivup is skippered by the legendary Charles Wheeler who has been game fishing out of Vanuatu for the past six years. She is well suited for Port Vila conditions and is always ready to chase the next record.
