Game Fishing Photos

This Newsletter we get up close and personal with our Captain Richard Moruk “What Now” . Richard has been fishing out of Port Vila for the last eight years and has deckied on Nevagivup for the last four years. Charles and Richard have over 30 local records under their belts and they love nothing more than to chase the next record. Richard also comes from the island of Paama and now lives in Port Vila. He is also skippering Nevagivup these days and loves chasing the next record!  

Fred sits proudly behind a very nice Yellowfin Tuna he landed aboard Nevagivup.

Here we see Fred weighing in this beauty of a Yellowfin Tuna. I can’t tell from the photo as the scales are facing the other way but I reckon the fish would go about 55 Kg.

Here Fred Temminck shows us his style and the correct way to handle a fully loaded 30 lb rod.

How is this for a days catch.  Twelve Yellowfin Tuna and every single one of them a fighting fish of note.

Look at the size of this puppy! This angler is absolutely ecstatic after landing no less than 11 large Yellowfin on a day out aboard Horizon.

This 45 Kg Yellowfin Tuna was taken on board Horizon.

Here is a great shot of the sun setting behind Reel Capture as she returns to Port Vila.  Her flags signaling the day’s catch have been prepared and will be raised as she enters Port Vila harbour proper.
